Booking Your Disneyland Resort Vacation
There is no doubt that a Disneyland vacation is one of the most exciting vacations available. Having personally visited the Florida and Anaheim Disneyland resorts I can say that they are holidays that the whole family will never forget. This is not to say that Tokyo and Paris and not good resorts, in fact I’ve heard that the Paris hotels are particularly good.
To make your vacation unforgettable for all the right reasons, you want to plan well before you go ahead and book your Disneyland tickets. Here are a few tips for planning your Disney adventure:
- Try and start planning your vacation plenty in advance. You will find that the cheapest travel arrangements can be found by doing this, especially if the Disneyland resort is in a far off location.
- Before you go ahead and book you need to make sure that the park is open for the duration that you are planning on being at the resort. In general, Disneyland resorts are open on all days of the year; however it does no harm in checking this beforehand.
- If you have a cheap budget in mind and you are in particular looking for a good Disneyland deal you could consider visiting the park during off-peak days. You should be able to find a cheap deal on both travel arrangements and hotel accommodation by doing this. If this is something that may interest you and you go ahead and plan your trip for the off-season, you could also benefit from cheaper tickets to gain entry to the park, and also shorter waiting lines for the rides and attractions. It’s a good idea to check the Disneyland website for availability as some attractions may be closed or shut early during off-peak.
- Which days of the week you are going to be at the park will also determine your experience. For example towards the middle of the week you will be able to enjoy shorter lines for the attractions, however at the weekends the entertainment at night is superior. If your vacation is going to be long enough, try to plan your days so that you visit the rides during the middle of the week (preferably during the morning for shorter lines) and save other days during the weekend for the other entertainment. This of course will all depend on whether your trip is a Disneyland vacation for kids or whether you want entertainment for all family members of all ages.
- The Disneyland website allows you to book a package all together, that will include your hotel, air travel and tickets. You also have the option of just booking a hotel and tickets, allowing you to search for cheap airlines if you’d prefer. Don’t forget to also check out travel agents and online deals also.
